My brother is as proud as a peacock! He got a peacock feather in his science class yesterday and he wanted me to put a picture of it on my blog. Here it is!
The colour combinations in a peacock feather are extraordinary. You just can't help staring at them. I suppose that's what the peacock had in mind in the first place....to dazzle us all with it's beautiful tail. Have you ever used that colour combination in a painting, knitting or with beadwork? I made a bead collar for one of my totems with these colours and it looked wonderful.
