Mom's Christmas catcus is blooming!
My little brother and I outside in the cold. Brrrrr...My poor nutcracker... he falls apart every year. Poor thing can't crack nuts anymore. I still treasure him though.

Ya'll look so cold out there huddled together.
Love that cactus. It is so pretty and cheerful. And your finger scarf is so cute. Good job on that.
Love you sweetie
Christmas is sooooo hot here and yet we still have the traditional hot meal. Send me some of your Brrrr weather and I will send you a few warm sunbeams.
Brrrrr... you and your brother look so cold !!!! Lucky you know those gorgeous scarves and hats to keep you warm...
I have a cactus plant like your mums too... mine has an orange flower though. It blooms in our May - August period which is lovely.
My mum gave me this cactus because it flowers on my birthday. Mum died 17 years ago, so every year on my birthday her presence is always felt when I look at those beautiful flowers. We call mine the "Birthday Cactus" as it blooms for each of our birthdays in my family.
